What brought you to join Equilibrium Wealth?
My professional background involves working in the middle office and operations for hedge funds and brokerage firms. I joined Equilibrium to leverage my experience across the entire company’s operations. As part of the team at Equilibrium Wealth, I run the company’s back-end operations. A bonus is that I utilize my knowledge of working in the US and Israel to help support David and his team in working with our clients in the US and Israel, including our cross-border clients.
What do you enjoy most about working at Equilibrium Wealth?
I have a broad scope of responsibility at Equilibrium Wealth, from managing the company’s finances to running compliance operations to supporting the team of advisors in managing their client relationships. I also work with the team to onboard new clients in the US and Israel. We have streamlined our processes to meet our cross-border clients’ unique onboarding and portfolio needs in the US and Israel.
What is most important to you in supporting the team to help build meaningful client relationships?
The most important aspect of my role is to optimize the client experience at Equilibrium Wealth. I serve as the trusted “one point of contact” for our clients in all areas from onboarding to their ongoing day-to-day experience with the firm.
What are your areas of specialization?
My work in a hedge fund trading room at a firm in Tel Aviv involved providing support to various operating functions essential to running the firm. My role was to bridge the gap between back-office operations and the traders in the front office. I have expanded this foundational knowledge in my role at Equilibrium Wealth. I serve as a centralized source of knowledge for US and Israel-based clients to coordinate the service that best meet their circumstances.
How do you give back to the community?
I teach Jewish studies in my local community.
What is one key takeaway that you would like to share?
A person’s finances are an intimate part of their life. People need to find an adivsor with whom they can develop a high level of trust to share this information and openly ask questions. It’s a pleasure to work with a team that has the client’s best interests at heart and treats them like part of the family.
